Maruti Suzuki has announced that it would aid its customers located in West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand who are affected by Cyclone Amphan. The company on its part, prior to the cyclone had reached out to owners informing them about the do's and don'ts in order to keep their vehicle safe. In fact the communication was sent out to more than 3 lakh customers via an SMS says the manufacturer. Adding further, the company says that it took advance measures by allocating field teams to quickly attend to customers' vehicles. The designated official was assigned a district and his contact number was shared with customers residing in that particular area for help and support. The moment the cyclone subsided, workshops in these states resumed operations to avoid any inconvenience. For better support, Maruti in these regions is providing towing services for which they have tied up with 7 major towing agencies. As for components, they are being sanctioned on an urgent basis depending upon the demand.
