Maruti Suzuki India has once again extended its free services and warranty period by up to July 31, 2021. Earlier in May, the automaker had announced that all the customers who were unable to avail their primary warranty, extended warranty, and free or periodic maintenance services, due to Covid’19 lockdown, will get an extension up to June 30, 2021. This particular offer was applicable to the vehicles whose free service and warranty period were supposed to expire between March 15 and June 30 this year. Now the automaker has further extended the scheme up till 31st July 2021. This will further cover all the services that are scheduled to expire between March 15 to June 30, 2021.

All the customers whose vehicle’s free service and warranty period were ending during this period faced immense trouble in renewing that or servicing the vehicle. This particular move by Maruti Suzuki is expected to help the affected vehicle owners across the country.

“We have decided to extend the free services, warranty and extended warranty for our customers till July 31st, 2021. This is being done to offer convenience to our customers, as they are facing the restricted movement in current pandemic times. Now, customers can avail of these services at their convenience, as lockdown eases. Our workshops are following all safety SOPs as mandated by the Government. In addition, for those who cannot visit the workshops, we have a complimentary vehicle pick and drop facility as well.  We urge customers to avail these services for the better upkeep of their vehicles,” as commented by Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Director (Service), Maruti Suzuki India.

Besides Maruti Suzuki, there are other brands like MG Motor India, Toyota India, Skoda Auto India, Tata Motors, and many more who have taken this step to support the customers amidst the Covid’19 lockdown.
