Limited-run model gets free accessories and a new paint shade; available only on mid-level VXi and VDi variants.

A limited-edition version of the Ertiga has been launched at ₹7.85(petrol) and ₹8.10 lakh(diesel) (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Available only on the VXi and VDi variants of the MPV, the model comes with accessories worth ₹16,990. Customers can choose between white, silver or a new maroon paint scheme. The Limited Edition Ertiga comes with alloy wheels (otherwise offered only on the Z trim) and an all-black interior. This is unlike the standard model that comes with a dual-tone interior. The extra accessories also include faux wood inserts around the cabin, ambient footwell lighting, cushion pillows and a front centre armrest.

Changes to the model are purely cosmetic, and the car remains mechanically unchanged. The petrol VXi comes with a 92hp 1.4-litre engine, while the diesel VDI is powered by a 90hp 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel motor which comes with fuel-saving tech like an engine start-stop system and brake-energy recuperation system.

Rivals to the Maruti Ertiga include the Honda Mobilio and the Renault Lodgy.
