The crossover version of the Celerio is available as a manual and with an AMT gearbox.

Maruti has launched a crossover version of the Celerio, called the CelerioX. It features X-theme front grille graphics, side and rear body cladding, and a blacked-out B-pillar. There’s a new orange shade for the exterior that’s part of the package as well. On the inside, there are coloured accents to match the outer appearance.

The engine remains unchanged – you still get a 998cc, three-cylinder petrol motor that makes 68hp and 90Nm, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The cross-hatch is also available with a five-speed AMT gearbox.

Prices start at ₹4.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the VXi manual variant and rise up to ₹5.43 lakh for the top-end ZXi (O) AMT variant. The CelerioX costs around ₹8,000 over the cost of each standard variant.

The base LXi variant isn’t available in CelerioX form though.
