The 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift also features two customisation options - Acropolis and Scorcher.

Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the 2020 Ignis facelift in a price range of Rs 4.89-7.20 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The new iteration of micro-SUV had made its first public appearance at the recently concluded 2020 Auto Expo. The BS 6 Maruti Ignis commands a premium of nearly Rs 6000 over the BS 4 variants. It is being offered in a total of seven variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta AMT, Zeta, Zeta AMT, Alpha and Alpha AMT. The mini-SUV will be sold across the country from the NEXA premium chain of showrooms.

As far as the styling is concerned, 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift flaunts a new front grille which is borrowed from the S-Presso. The bumper has also been redesigned while including a faux scuff plate. The side profile is majorly carried over from the ongoing model with roof rails and alloy wheels. The rear end is also reminiscent of the current model except for the revamped bumper. The company has introduced a couple of new color schemes in form of Lucent Orange and Turquoise Blue while three dual-tone colors Nexa Blue with Black, Nexa Blue with Silver, and Lucent Orange with Black have also been added. Though, the dual-tone colors will only be available with Zeta and Alpha trims at an extra premium of Rs 13,000.

The cabin comes with a handful of updates with dashboard retained from the present model. However, Maruti has introduced the latest 7-inch SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and voice commands with the new Ignis. There is also an option of S-Connect connectivity suite with the mini-SUV. The 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift is powered by the BS 6 version of the same 1.2L 4-cylinder K12B petrol engine which develops 83bhp and 113Nm, identical to the BS 4 version. Transmission duties are helmed by a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox, while the mileage figures are not revealed yet.
