Maruti Suzuki has announced to replace the speedometer and owner’s manual of the new Ciaz.

Maruti Suzuki has announced the recall of facelift diesel Ciaz for the replacement of the speedometer and the user manual. The cars that were manufactured between August 1 and September 21, 2018, are affected and that too only Zeta and Alpha variants. Around 880 units of new Ciaz will get a replacement of new speedometers.

The replacement of speedometer will be done without any cost. The company has started the campaign on October 29 and the dealers are contacting the vehicle owners. The inspection and replacement of the speedometer unit are being done at NEXA service centres and customers can check whether their car is affected or not by providing the chassis number.

In recent times, Maruti Ciaz has been the top-selling C-segment car. In the launch month itself Maruti sold more than 7000 units of Ciaz and in the following month, the sales figure cumulatively reached close to 15,000 units.
