Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA), which was set up in 2013, is an automotive design, engineering and vehicle development centre. Mahindra now has 400,000 square feet of operations, spread across three Detroit area facilities. M&M set up the Mahindra North America Technical Centre four years ago in Troy, Michigan, to “leverage the automotive talent and intellect surrounding Detroit”.
MANA has tripled its workforce to 250 in the last 18 months and by 2020 aims to create 400 more jobs, with another $600 million (Rs 3,790 crore) in local investments.
