The Indian automobile market is slowly picking up the pieces after a turbulent 2019 and slumping sales. In fact the beginning of this year has been positive considering recent conclusion of Auto Expo 2020 that saw a series of unveilings, showcases, and launches from the automobile industry. It is with this enthusiam that the automakers are now looking to introduce all-new products into the Indian market. Here are a 'List Of Car's and SUV's that are set to launch in the month of March 2020:
Next-Generation Hyundai Creta
Next-Generation Hyundai Creta SUV is one of the most awaited SUV's in the country and its launch date is the 17th of March 2020. The All-New Creta will be launched in the Indian automobile market with 3 engine options across petrol and diesel variants that are a new 1.5 l MPi (BS6) petrol with 6-speed manual and Intelligent Variable Transmission, 1.5 l U2 VGT (BS6) Diesel alongside a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission; a new 1.4 l Kappa Turbo GDi (BS6) Petrol with 7-speed DCT. Creta will be offered in 10 different colour shades which include Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Lava Orange, Titan Grey, Deep Forest (Turbo Only), Galaxy Blue NEW, Red Mulberry NEW) including 2 Dual Tone (Polar White with Phantom Black and Lava Orange with Phantom Black) options. The 2020 Creta's petrol variant will produce 113 bhp & 144 Nm of peak torque as it comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Talking about the diesel variant it is expected to generate 113 bhp of power output with 250 Nm of peak Torque. It comes equipped with a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission.
2020 Honda City
Honda Cars India is all set to launch the 2020 Honda City in the country on March 16th. The latest iteration of Honda City will feature a bolder exterior design, feature loaded interiors and most importantly BS 6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. Key design updates would include a sharper front end that would comprise of a redesigned grille, LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, new bumper while the rear stands to provide refeshed LED tail lights alongside a new bumper. Interior upgrades on the new City would comprise of a dual tone cabin, leather seats, a new central console supporting Android Auto and Apple Carplay among many others. New Honda City 2020 will powered by a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine along with a 1.5-litre diesel unit.
Volkswagen T-Roc
Volkswagen unveiled its new compact SUV T-ROC at the Auto Expo 2020 with its launch scheduled for the 18th of March 2020. There are some exciting features in T-Roc like LED headlamps with DRLs, panoramic sunroof, reverse parking camera, climatronic” auto AC, keyless entry and keyless start. Safety features are aplenty like 6 airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system. Entertainment options like App-Connect for connecting your Android or Apple devices, touch screen infotainment for sheer convienence. Volkswagen T-ROC will only be offered in a petrol variant that is the 1.5-litre TSI-Evo turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine generating 148bhp of maximum power output with 250 Nm of peak torque.
