The Japanese luxury carmaker, Lexus has unveiled the LX Inspiration Limited Edition. There will be only 500 units of these cars that will be manufactured. The car will be showcased at the Los Angeles Auto Show and the asking price for the special edition is around Rs. 75 lakhs excluding taxes and duties.
The car sports a Black Onyx paint finish, the large grille is surrounded by dark chrome. Almost every part of the car has been treated black. The car sits on 21-inch blacked out wheels. There is LX lettering projection light from the door panels. On the interior, the headliner and front centre arm-rest is black in colour. The seats are upholstered with Moonlight White Semi-Aniline leather.
The front and second-row outboard seats are equipped with heating and ventilation option. The car comes with four-zone climate control, rear-seat entertainment system, a colour head-up display (HUD), wireless charging for mobile and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with Mark Levinson music system.
The SUV hosts a load of safety features like the lane departure alert, pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert. Apart from the above, it also gets radar cruise control, crawl control, hill-start assist and intelligent high-beam headlamps.
Powering the humongous SUV is a 5.7-litre V8 engine that churns out 383 BHP and 546 Nm of twisting force, the engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This car comes equipped with multiple modes for off-road terrain like rock, rock and dirt, mud and sand, snow and loose rock. Multiple off-road modes along with low-range gearing make this car a go anywhere SUV.
