The Urus 'super-SUV' will be launched with a sub-3-crore price tag.

Lamborghini’s Urus 'super-SUV' was unveiled recently at the company’s plant in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. It is set to go on sale in India by next month in India. While prices haven’t been announced yet, they will be under the Rs 3 crore mark.

The car is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out a massive 650hp and 850Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels the Urus also features the Aventador S’ rear-wheel-steering system. Lamborghini says the Urus can hit 100kph in just 3.6sec, and 0-200kph in 12.8sec.

The carmaker says the introduction of the Urus will triple its sales in India as well. The company has been accepting bookings from Indian buyers for a while now, and has already filled up its quote for 2018.

The carmaker is also looking at increasing its dealerships from three to five in the next few months.
