Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder is nearly Rs 32 Lakhs more expensive than its coupe sibling

Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder has been launched in the Indian market at a staggering price of Rs 3.54 Crores (Ex. Showroom). The supercar is already available in three iterations in India namely AWD Coupe, AWD Spyder and RWD Coupe. Having made its global premiere last year, it will take on the likes of Audi R8 Spyder and Ferrari Portofino in the Indian market. Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder is nearly Rs 32 Lakhs more expensive than its coupe sibling while it costs Rs 56 Lakhs less than the AWD Spyder in the country.

The Huracan Evo RWD Spyder comes with a fabric roof which can be opened and closed in merely 17 seconds at speeds of upto 50kmph. It has a dry weight of 1509 kgs which is around 120 kgs more than its coupe counterpart. The fabric roof and its folding mechanism contribute up to a huge extent to this additional weight. The brand has not equipped it with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system and rear-wheel steering. Moreover, some of the standard elements such as carbon-ceramic brakes, adaptive dampers, parking sensors and the nose lift function have been made optional and can be added as aftermarket accessories after paying the additional sum. All these changes have helped the Italian supercar company to price the Huracan RWD Spyder aggressively.

Under the bonnet, Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder gets the same naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 petrol engine which powers the entire range of company cars like Urus and Aventador. The engine generates maximum power output of 610 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 560 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. The open-top supercar does a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.5 seconds while the 200kmph mark is touched from standstill in merely 9.6 seconds. The AWD Spyder has a faster acceleration as it does 0-100kmph stuff in only 3.1 seconds. The Huracan RWD Spyder clocks a top speed of 324kmph. The bookings are open for this new model at all Lamborghini dealerships in India.
