The BS6 250 Duke extra Rs 4,000 more than the existing model. KTM 250 Duke BS6 will come at Rs 2 lakhs.

KTM dealers have started accepting bookings at Rs 5,000 for the BS6-compliant 2020 KTM 250 Duke. Such dealers say that the new version will only cost Rs 4,000 as much as the outgoing BS4 edition, implying it will have an ex-showroom price of Rs 2 lakh and an on-road cost of just over Rs 2.35 lakh.

As the 250 Duke was already a fuel-injected model, the small price increase doesn't come as a surprise. KTM had only had to make changes to the exhaust system's catalytic converter and also the diagram. Nevertheless, the image dealers sent us indicate that the BS6-compliant variant, along with updated graphics, will get a new silver color. It will not be long until KTM sends out concrete information, which is when all the mechanical and aesthetic improvements can be verified.

The 250 Duke will finally become the second KTM to become BS6-compliant once the details is sent out by the bike maker; the first was the KTM 390 Adventure which was released a few days ago. Ironically, the BS6-compliant 390 Duke is also being ready by KTM and it will come with a quick shifter as standard.
