Kia India is all set to launch the updated Sonet and Seltos in the country later this month. In addition, these updated models will feature the new Kia logo that was globally unveiled earlier this year. In this context, the first unit of Kia Sonet with the new logo have started arriving at the dealerships in India. Images for the same have been surfaced online.
Besides these, Kia will be discontinuing the HTK+ DCT Petrol and HTK+ AT Diesel in the Indian market. Instead, the automaker plans to launch two new variants - HTX DCT Petrol and HTX AT Diesel. Talking about the feature list, no major change will be made. Some of the highlighted features of the Sonet include a 7-speaker Bose stereo system, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, connected car tech, among many others. Performance-wise, it will be offered with three engine options - a 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol unit, 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L turbo-diesel unit.
Kia Seltos Gravity Edition will also be launched alongside the Sonet on April 27, 2021, with the new logo. The Seltos Gravity Edition is already on sale in the South Korean market. It will come equipped with a plethora of features. The cabin of the SUV will boast of grey color theme. Besides these, Kia will also introduce two new variants - iMT HTK+ and Turbo GTX (O), of the Seltos.
