Kia India stated that the festive season increased its sales further, and the company will try to maintain the sales momentum in the future as well.

Kia India announced on Wednesday that it had sold 24,351 units in October. The Seltos SUV contributed more than 50% to the total retail numbers. In October, the South Korean automaker bagged its fourth-best monthly sales. The sales of Kia India surged to 4.4% year-on-year to 24,351 units. Kia India stated that the festive season increased its sales further, and the company will try to maintain the sales momentum in the future as well.

The Kia Seltos was the first Kia car to be launched in India. Kia Seltos is the best selling and most famous car for Kia India. The auto company introduced Seltos in a new avatar with more updated features recently. The Seltos SUV continued to be Kia’s most-selling car in October 2023 as well. Last month, the company sold 12,362 units and the SUV contributed more than 50% to Kia’s overall sales.

Along with Seltos, Kia’s other cars also witnessed massive sales in the country. Kia announced that it sold 6,493 units of the Kia Sonnet compact SUV last month, while Kia Carens registered a strong sale of 5,355 units. In October 2023, the Kia EV6 sold 141 units.

The National Head (Sales and Marketing) of Kia India, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, states that "During the festive season, our customers' positive response has helped us attain our fourth-highest monthly sales ever in India. The fact that our products like Carens, Seltos, and Sonet continue to dominate in their respective segments despite various new launches by competition is a major achievement."
