All Kia Seltos variants get new exterior, interior and comfort features while there is no mechanical change.

Kia Motors India has silently updated the entire Seltos variant lineup with new features in the country. The compact SUV is available in a total of 18 variants across 6 engine-transmission combinations. The variants get new exterior, interior and comfort features while there is no mechanical change made by the company. Recently, the South-Korean automaker started reopening its dealership network in a phased manner in the Indian market post the lockdown. New Kia Seltos prices are expected to be increased in the coming days.

 

 

Kia Seltos automatic variants - HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and GTX - have received a remote engine start feature as part of this rejig. In addition, the HTX and GTX variants will get the sunroof feature which was till now available only with HTX+ and GTX+ trims. The company has made a USB charger for first and second row with an emergency stop signal as standard feature across the entire range of Seltos SUV. It is also being learnt that the top-end Kia Seltos GTX+ interior will now come finished in an all-black upholstery with contrasting red stitching. In addition, the HTX, HTX+, GTX and the GTX+ grades will get a faux metal garnish on the AC control panel and door grab handles. The lower HTK+ variant will come with a faux leather finish on the gear knob and a gloss black finish on the dashboard.

Barring the HTE and HTK variants, all the variants in Kia Seltos line-up will now flaunt the twin exhaust design on the rear bumper that till now was only exclusive with the range-topping variants. Moreover, the HTX and HTX+ trims will boast of metal scuff plates now which were earlier limited to just GTX and GTX+ variants. It is being speculated that Kia has reworked on the features list due to the launch of the all-new Hyundai Creta which was launched a couple of months back in March. Kia Seltos deliveries are expected to start in the coming few weeks as the production has resumed at Ananthpur facility in Andhra Pradesh. It takes on the likes of Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, MG Hector and Tata Harrier in the Indian market.
