Kia India has announced that the upcoming Carens MPV has secured 7738 bookings on the very first day in the country. It is the highest day 1 booking numbers for a Kia product in India. Kia Carens bookings started on January 14, 2022 at a token amount of Rs 25,000 which could be either paid online at the brand's website or at a company authorized dealership in the Indian market. The South-Korean automaker will reveal the detailed prices of the MPV next month while test drives and deliveries will also begin at the same time.


Kia Carens will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel trims in five grades namely Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus. It will be available in both 6-seater (Only Luxury Plus trim) and 7-seater configurations. All the variants will come with the Robust 10 Hi-safety package as standard which includes 6-airbags. Other notable features will include 64 color Ambient Mood Lighting, Smart Pure Air Purifier with Virus and Bacteria protection, Ventilated front seats, Multi Drive Modes (Sport/Eco/Normal) linked with Ambient Mood Lighting, 2nd Row Seat One Touch Easy Electric Tumble, SkyLight Sunroof, 10.25-inch HD Touchscreen Infotainment System with Navigation & Next Generation Kia Connect and BOSE Premium Sound System with 8 speakers.
