Kia India has made it official that the upcoming SUV in its product line will be known as the "Kia Syros." As expected, the Syros is slotted to fit in between the very successful Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet. The Kia Syros features are expected to bring a new design perspective to Kia’s offering. The new SUV will also be the first model made in India to feature the Kia Design 2.0 look, which is part of the brand's 2.0 strategy to evolve the look and feel of the brand going forward.

The Kia Syros is a new breed of SUV, focusing on the paradigm shift in design. The model brings in reference to its recent creations like the EV9 and the Carnival Limousine. This influence is clear in the Syros' modern aesthetics, which combine the bold styling of the EV9 with the luxurious touches of the Carnival, both of which debuted in India earlier this year.
The first drafts of the Kia Syros show a uniquely shaped vehicle that is different from most, if not all, SUVs on the market today. In the front, this SUV takes some elements from the EV9 as well, with a three-element vertical LED headlight accentuated with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). This unusual front design helps Syros look very modern and strong compared to other vehicles in the same market, which is an advantage. The expected Kia Syros price in India is INR 6.0-7.0 lakh.
The design illustrations show an interesting side and back view as well. The car, unlike traditional SUVs, leans more towards an RV shape, similar to the Kia Carens. The side profile consists of a level top and ornate-shaped handles that are well integrated into the body of the doors, giving it a simple and elegant appearance. The Kia Syros interior and exterior are expected to be packed with a range of modern and technical upgrades that are likely to be revealed by Kid in the coming days.
Now that it has officially been named, everything seems to be ready for the Syros to enter key markets. As the launch is just days away, automobile analysts are curious about the Kia Syros mileage and how the SUV will perform in the compact SUV market and attract potential car buyers looking for a stylish yet dependable vehicle in the ever-busy market.
