Hyundai Alcazar vs Tata Safari: Exterior Design

Hyundai Alcazar will be based on the K2 platform, which also underpins the current-gen Creta. Tata Safari, on the other hand, is based on the Omega Arc architecture that is derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform. The Omega Arc platform can house a 4WD system, while the K2 platform does not come with any such possibility. Talking about the dimensions, we can expect the upcoming Alcazar to be similar to the newly launched Safari.

In terms of design, the Hyundai Alcazar looks similar to Creta. However, it does get subtle changes to the bumper and grille to make it look a bit distinct from the new-gen Creta. Meanwhile, Tata Safari retains the silhouette of Tata Harrier. Upfront, it gets a new tri-arrow grille with a chrome finish. In addition, the SUV flaunts Xenon HID projector headlamps. The roof rails of the SUV come with ‘Safari’ inscribed on them. Towards the rear end, it gets a new D-pillar design, a new set of LED tail-lamps, and a large quarter glass. Tata Safari rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. On the other hand, we can also expect Alcazar to get a set of 18-inch alloy wheels.

Hyundai Alcazar is expected to offer a massive list of features just like the Creta. This includes Creta’s 7-inch all-digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system integrated with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Besides these, the SUV is also likely to get smart cruise control, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, highway driving assist, wireless charging, and lane departure warning among many others.
