It will be sold in a fully-loaded HSE Dynamic variant and is powered by a 240hp, 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine.

Jaguar Land Rover looks all set to launch the Range Rover Evoque Convertible in India on March 27, 2018. The car was first shown at the 2015 Los Angeles motor show. Under the hood will be JLR's latest 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol, which debuted in India on the Velar.

This engine makes 240hp and 340Nm in this car and power is channelled via a nine-speed automatic transmission. It can hit 100kph in 8.1 seconds and can go on to hit a top-speed of 217kph. The Convertible will be on sale in one fully-loaded HSE Dynamic variant. The car comes with adaptive LED headlights, leather seats, navigation and ambient lighting. The car features a reinforced monocoque chassis along with reinforced door panels, since the roof has been removed.

The fabric roof takes around 20 seconds, at speeds of up to 48kph, to retract. You also get a wind deflector as an option. There’s also a pop-up roll-bar system that deploys if there is a danger of a rollover, for added safety. Prices could be in the zone of Rs 80-85 lakh (estimated, ex-showroom).
