The Jeep Compass grabbed attention from a lot of buyers in India thanks to its desirable package for the SUV loving country. The American carmaker has since then introduced a few more trims and versions of the SUV to cater to a wider audience with varying preferences. Jeep has now launched the Compass Longitude (O) variant with the petrol engine option.
The Jeep Compass Longitude (O) petrol is priced at Rs. 18.89 lakhs (ex-showroom). This mid-spec variant is equipped with features such as projector headlamps, front fog lamps, rear fog lamps, 17-inch alloys, power folding ORVMs, roof rails, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, engine start/stop button, etc.
Powering the Jeep Compass Longitude (O) is a turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 161 BHP with a peak torque of 250 Nm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include dual front airbags, traction control, stability control and ABS.
