2021 Jeep Compass Facelift design details emerge online; likely to receive cosmetic updates.

Jeep India is expected to launch Jeep Compass Facelift sometime in 2021 in the Indian market. New details of the upcoming compact SUV have emerged online. According to these images, the Jeep Compass Facelift will receive both interior and exterior updates.

In terms of design, the updated Compass is expected to feature a revised grille and front bumper along with new headlamps. The signature seven slits grid will be moved upwards. The rear end will get a new bumper and re-worked LED taillights.

As for interior features, the facelifted Compass is likely to get a redesigned dashboard along with a new infotainment system with a large 12.3-inch portrait-style display. It is the FCA’s (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) latest UConnect5 infotainment unit that was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show last year. The system is backed by a 6G RAM and 64G storage. It supports Amazon Alexa along with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In terms of safety, the SUV will be offered with driver assistance systems like Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.

According to a media report, the Brazil-spec Jeep Compass Facelift is expected to get a 1.3-litre Firefly T4 flex-fuel (dual fuel) engine clubbed with a CVT gearbox along with front-wheel drive. The sport version is expected to get a 2.0-litre flex-fuel motor paired to a 6-speed Aisin gearbox.
