Jaguar launches the locally assembled petrol variant of F-Pace and it will be available to us via CKD route.

Tata-owned British brand, Jaguar launches the petrol variant of F-Pace which has been locally assembled in India. The new F-Pace Ingenium petrol is available to us via CKD route. This is the first performance SUV from Jaguar and the assembly will be done at the company’s Pune plant.

The new F-Pace will come equipped with adaptive LED headlights, sliding panoramic roof, cabin air ionisation, 360-degree parking sensor, illuminated metal treadplates, chrome switches for the 10-way seats, bright metal pedals, Wi-Fi Hotspot & Pro Services, 10.2-inch infotainment system and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, four-zone climate control.

Safety wise the car comes with ABS, emergency brake assist, lane keep assist, driver condition monitor, seat belt reminder and rear Isofix. Driving aids on this SUV includes JaguarDrive Control, cruise control, dynamic stability control, traction control, all surface progress control (ASPC) and hill launch assist.

Powering the performance SUV is a 1997cc four-cylinder petrol unit producing 246.7 BHP and 365 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with Jaguar sequential shift. The car is priced at Rs. 63.17 lakhs (ex-showroom, pan-India).
