The Isuzu MU-X SUV was first launched in May 2017 in India and now the facelifted version of the car has been launched. There are many cosmetic changes in the facelift model. The interior of the car is updated to get a two-tone dash board and gets a touchscreen infotainment system at the centre.
The car gets projector headlamps with LED DRLs. The front and rear bumpers are redesigned. The fog lamps are larger than before and get chrome treatment. The front grille of the car has also been reworked. At the rear, the SUV sports restyled tail-lights and a large spoiler. The MU-X now sits on different designed alloy wheels.
Powering the 2018 Isuzu MU-X is a 3.0-litre diesel engine which produces 174 BHP and 380 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox and there is a 4x4 variant which gets Terrain Command control with a shift-on-fly dial. The Isuzu MU-X is a 7-seater SUV and will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. The Isuzu MU-X is priced at Rs. 26.26 lakhs for the 4x2 variant and Rs. 28.22 lakhs for the 4x4 variant (ex-showroom).
