Isuzu is hiking prices of all its models in the Indian market by up to 4% which means a maximum hike of Rs. 1,00,000 in the ex-showroom price.

Isuzu Motors India announced a price hike effective from 01 January 2019 for the D-Max pick-up trucks range and the MU-X SUV. The prices for the commercial range of D-Max pick-ups would be increased by 1-2% and by 3-4% for the D-Max V-Cross and MU-X. This converts to a price difference in the range of Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/- (ex-showroom), depending on the model and variant.

The reason for the price hike according to Isuzu is due to the increasing input and distribution costs. Interestingly, Isuzu had increased prices for the D-Max range by Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- in September 2018.

The MU-X recently received a facelift and was launched in October. Prices start at Rs. 26,30,000/- for the 4x2 variant and goes up to Rs. 28,31,000/- for the 4x4. The D-Max V-Cross starts at Rs. 14,82,000/- (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
