Toyota celebrates 15 years of the MPV with the launch of Leadership Edition Innova Crysta.

Toyota India has launched the Innova Crysta Leadership Edition at a sticker price of Rs 21.21 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. For the last 15 years, Toyota’s grip on the Indian MPV segment is unmatched with over 2.25 lakh units of the Innova Crysta MPV been sold in India since its launch in 2016. Being based on the VX grade and available in a 7-seater configuration, the deliveries of Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition are expected to start shortly. This time, the Innova Crysta will be available in a new dual-tone exterior color - a combination of White Pearl Crystal Shine with Attitude Black, and Wildfire Red with Attitude Black in the Leadership Edition of Innova Crystal. Some other exciting additions to BS6 compliant Innova Crysta include  Exclusive Leadership Edition Insignia on the seat,auto-folding mirrors and a Leadership Edition Badge will make it a prized possesion for customers in India.


In regards to the exterior design, there are a few changes in Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition as compared to the standard MPV. The Leadership Edition badging is a significant highlight in the vehicle alongside the chrome touches given to the front grille & bumper, side rocker mould and rear bumper spoiler. Apart from the aforementioned updates, there are not any radical changes in relation to features. The special edition MPV retains automatic LED projector headlamps, unique inverted tail lights, sporty black alloy wheels, and an integrated rear spoiler. Its cabin comes loaded with premium leather seats, a rear AC, ambient illumination, leather-wrapped steering wheel with a wood finish, etc. to name a few. 


Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition is powered by a BS 6 compliant 2.4L diesel engine. The powertrain comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The maximum power output is 150bhp and peak torque performance is 360Nm. Safety equipment list comprises of 7-airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Braking Assistance, Vehicle Stability Control, rear parking sensors and an anti-theft system.

The Innova Crysta holds over 40 percent market share in the MPV segment and Toyota on average sells 70,000 plus units of the Innova Crysta annually.
