The American premium motorcycle manufacturer has launched the Indian FTR 1200 S in our market and this bike is priced at Rs. 14.99 lakhs for the FTR 1200 S version and Rs. 15.49 lakhs for the FTR 1200 S Race Replica version (all prices, ex-showroom). It is a street going flat tracker motorcycle which you can pre-book with a token of Rs. 2 lakhs, deliveries set to begin from April 2019.
The difference between the regular 1200 S and the 1200 S Race Replica version is the colour. The former gets a black frame while the latter gets a red trellis frame. The American luxury bike maker hasn't launched the base variant of the FTR 1200, which might get introduced in the Indian market sometime later.
The Indian FTR 1200 S comes with a 1203cc V-twin engine that produces a maximum power output of 120 HP at 8250 RPM and 115 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. This beast of an engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch feature. This bike is loaded with tech including LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, ABS, wheelie control, riding modes, etc.
