The Made-in-India Jeep Meridian deliveries to commence from June 2022 in the country

The Made-in-India Jeep Meridian has been unveiled in production form. However, the company has not revealed the official launch date yet. The SUV will arrive at the Jeep brand dealerships across India by mid-May. While the deliveries will commence from June 2022 onwards. The Meridian will be offered in both 4X4 AWD and 4X2 variants.

“The Indian market has unique demands. With the Meridian, our engineering and design teams have delivered a striking product; with three rows while retaining the authentic Jeep DNA of adventure and capability. We are delighted with the outcome and firmly believe that the Jeep Meridian will set new benchmarks for the segment,” as commented by Roland Bouchara, CEO & Managing Director, Stellantis India.

The India-spec Jeep Meridian gets a similar dashboard layout as the Jeep Compass. However, the new SUV opts for a brown color scheme instead of an all-black look. Most of the features have been carried forward from the Compass. These include a 10.1-inch touchscreen unit, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto connectivity, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, ESC, traction control, 360-degree parking camera, six airbags, and hill-start & descent control. The SUV also offers three selectable drive modes namely sand/mud, snow, and auto. Besides these, the vehicle also gets a powered tailgate and a 9-speaker audio system by Alpine.
