Mechanically, the next-gen Hyundai Creta comes with three BS-6 compliant engine options borrowed from Kia Seltos - a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 115 bhp power and 144 Nm torque, a 1.5-litre diesel delivering a power output of 115 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque, and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol chruning out a max-power of 140 bhp and 242 Nm torque. A six-speed manual transmission will be available with the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.5-litre petrol will be offered with a CVT, whereas the diesel is offered with a 6-speed torque converter. The 1.4-litre turbo-petrol will be available with a 7-speed DCT only.
