All the variants of Hyundai Creta except the base E will gain new features

Hyundai Creta is all set to get some new features in the Indian market, reveals a leaked document. As per the document, all the variants except the base E will gain new features. Recently, Hyundai's sister brand Kia launched the 2021 Seltos with an updated feature list across all the variants. It seems that Hyundai is taking a leaf out of Kia's book and updating the Creta in a similar manner. Hyundai Creta is presently available in a total of five trim levels across all the engine options namely E, EX, S, SX and SX (O).

Starting with the entry-level E variant, it will lose out on the electrically adjustable wing mirrors. In addition, the company has decided not to continue with the luggage lamp and passenger seat-back pocket. Furthermore, the turn indicators which were mounted on the ORVMs will now be repositioned to the front fenders. Moving to the mid EX and S variants, they will get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard features. Earlier, both these connectivity features could be availed only by pairing the smartphone through a wired cable. Also, Hyundai has also introduced multiple voice greetings for the driver while starting the SUV. Almost all these ask the occupants to wear the seatbelt in a polite manner, depending upon the time of day.

Last but not least, the range-topping SX and SX (O) variants receive substantial updates in the form of over-the-air (OTA) updates and voice commands for the infotainment system. The new voice commands are for power window control, points-of-interest search and contact details search. Additionally, both the manual as well as automatic variants will come with a newly designed smart key with remote engine start feature. There will also be a soft paint finish on the dashboard. So, these are the updates that Hyundai Creta variants will receive in the coming days. Mechanically, the SUV will continue to be powered by the same set of petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmission options.
