Hyundai Motor Company has launched the Creta SX Executive in the country. The petrol variant is priced at Rs 13.18 lakh (ex-showroom). While diesel trim costs Rs 14.18 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison to the SX trim, this new variant is Rs 78,000 cheaper. It is based on Creta’s SX model. 

In terms of design, the Hyundai Creta SX Executive features a large chrome grille, sculpted bonnet, silver skid plate, and adjustable LED headlights. On the sides, the SUV gets 17-inch alloy wheels. In addition, it gets roof rails, indicator-mounted ORVMs, black-wheel arch cladding, and blacked-out pillars. The rear end boasts of LED tail lights, a shark fin antenna, and a roof-mounted spoiler. 


Moving inside the cabin of the new Creta variant, it comes equipped with a plethora of features. These include an 8.0-inch touchscreen unit compatible with Apple Carplay & Android Auto, a Bluetooth microphone, automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, a USB charging port, among many others. The five-seater SUV misses out on features like Arkamys sound system, outside chrome door handles, and voice recognition button. It also does not get a 10.25-inch touchscreen system along with a Blue Link connectivity suite. However, the user can purchase this as an optional accessory. The cabin further boasts of fabric upholstery. The safety kit comprises dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), rear disc brakes, an engine immobilizer, hill assist, and a crash sensor. 

Performance-wise, the new SX Executive variant of Creta comes with two engine options. The 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor that churns out a maximum power of 113 bhp and a peak torque of 144 Nm. The 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel mill, on the other hand, generates 113 bhp power and 250 Nm peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed manual gearbox.
