Hyundai Motor Company has finally unveiled the facelifted version of Creta for the Indonesian market. The global unveiling took place at the GIIAS 2021 motor show. We can expect the new Hyundai Creta facelift to be launched in the Indian market in the second half of 2022. Besides this, the India-spec Creta facelift is expected to carry most of the design and features as seen on the Indonesia-spec model.

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Design


Dimensionally, the facelifted version of Creta stands at 4315mm in length, 1790mm in width, and 1630mm in height. Design-wise, the Indonesia-spec Creta features a reworked front fascia that looks similar to the new Hyundai Tucson. Having said this, the vehicle flaunts Hyundai’s new parametric grille upfront. In addition, it gets LED headlamps with hidden-type LED DRLs. On the sides, the car gets 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear end boasts of LED combination lamps. 

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Features


Moving inside the cabin of the Hyundai Creta facelift, it gets subtle updates. The dashboard layout and design have been carried over from its predecessor. The feature highlights include a 10.25-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster similar to the one seen in Alcazar, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto & Apple Carplay connectivity, a premium 8-speaker Bose sound system, ambient mood lamp, a panoramic sunroof, an air purifier, ventilated front seats, and cooled glove box.

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Safety Features

Hyundai has updated the safety feature list of the Creta facelift. The SUV now comes with Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). Here you can get access to features like blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking with forward collision avoidance on the top-end trim, and adaptive cruise control. These features are likely to make their way to the Indian model as well. However, we have already seen these features on the recently launched MG Astor.  The Hyundai Creta facelift also gets updated Blue Link connected car technology. With this, the SUV gets safety features like stolen vehicle immobilization, a valet parking mode, and stolen vehicle tracking. One can access all these features via the phone.

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Engine Specifications

In the Indonesian market, the Creta facelift comes equipped with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a top power of 114 bhp and a peak torque of 144 Nm. The motor can further be availed of with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.
