Hyundai is working hard on developing its India product portfolio amid a long slowdown period of sales in India. The South Korean brand recently launched the first electric SUV in Indian market in the form of Hyundai Kona, the SUV has gone ahead and also performed to exceed company’s expectations in the market. Before Kona EV, the maker also launched the Venue sub-4 meter compact SUV in the Indian market and this car has gone ahead and dethroned the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and claimed the top spot in sales in the segment. Hyundai will also launch the facelifted model of Grand i10 this month. However, despite all these launches the brand is also offering huge discount on some its models in the market to keep the sales momentum going in a period of slowdown.
