Hyundai has equipped Alcazar with segment-first features. The cabin of the SUV will boast of dual-tone Cognac Brown upholstery with a Wing-Surrounded architecture on the dashboard.
Performance-wise, the Alcazar will come with both petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0-litre Mpi petrol engine will generate a maximum power of 157 bhp at 6500rpm and a peak torque of 191 Nm at 4500rpm. The motor will be linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard along with a 6-speed automatic gearbox as an option. While the 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine will churn out a top power of 113 bhp at 4000rpm and a peak torque of 250 Nm between 1500-2700rpm. Transmission options here will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Once launched the Hyundai Alcazar will rival the likes of MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV500.
