This unachievable task as a challenge has been overcome by none other than Honda, the Japanese automaker. They have designed and developed an EV scooter and named it as Motocompacto. This scooter is directed as a tribute to one of the brand's older models. The design is quite different and is useful for short-distance errands. But, it can take you back by almost INR 80,000.
Honda Motocompacto EV scooter takes inspiration directly from the brand's 1980s Motocompo scooter that was easily adjustable inside a car boot.
The brand even commented praising their development that, “Uniquely foldable, Motocompacto quickly transforms into its own compact, light, and stackable carrying case that’s easy to take along in a vehicle, on public transportation, or store in tight places.”

The EV scooter is quite lightweight and weighs only around 19kgs which is easily manageable by hands. Honda says that the scooter is optimal for city travel, recreational fun, and campus cruising. The piddling electric scooter when completely folded measures around 742 mm in length, 94 mm in width, and 536 mm in height. But, when the scooter is in its ride mode and unfolded, the dimensions are 968 mm in length. The EV scooter comes equipped with a 742 mm wheelbase which remains thoroughly the same in ride and folded mode.
As per the brand, the Motocompacto EV is almost 3 times faster than the average walking speed of an individual person. The Ev can achieve a peak speed of 24 kmph. And it can achieve its top speed from zilch in only 7 seconds. The scooter has only 1 seat, and can carry 120 kgs of weight, which is more than the average weight of a person.
The foldable EV scooter boasts a front-wheel motor. This wheel helps the scooter to churn out horse power of 0.6 hp and peak torque of 16 Nm. The EV scooter also features water-resistant quality. It is facilitated with a 6.8Ah battery pack which offers a driving range of 20 kms on a single charge. Furthermore, if you want to completely charge the scooter, it needs a power socket of 110V and a time period of three and half hours.
