The 350cc - 500cc modern classic segment has been dominated by Royal Enfield for quite some time now. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India marked its entry in this segment by launching its much-awaited H’Ness CB 350 in the Indian market a few days back. The Honda H’Ness CB 350 offers a classic appeal and a vast equipment list. It directly rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Here we have compared both the motorcycles in terms of price, variants, features, color options, and specifications to help you decide which one is better suited for you.



Honda H’ness CB350 vs Royal Enfield Classic 350: Variants and Price in India


Honda is offering the H’Ness CB 350 in two variants namely DLX and DLX Pro. The company has not revealed the prices yet. We can expect it to be priced around Rs 1.9 lakh (ex-showroom).


While Royal Enfield Classic 350 is offered in two variants namely Single-channel ABS and Dual-channel ABS. The single-channel ABS variant is priced at Rs 1.61 lakh (ex-showroom). The dual-channel ABS variant is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom).


In terms of dimensions, Honda H’Ness CB 350 is 10 mm wider and 17 mm taller than its direct rival Royal Enfield Classic 350. Furthermore, it even has a 51 mm longer wheelbase. As for the length, RE Classic 350 is 17 mm longer than the New Honda Cruiser Motorcycle.

In terms of design, Honda H’Ness CB 350 gets an LED headlamp up front. It further gets a semi-digital instrument cluster that displays information such as two-trip metres, odometers, fuel gauge, clock, and gear position indicators. The top-end DLX Pro variant gets segment-first Bluetooth connectivity. Royal Enfield, on the other hand, offers a halogen headlamp upfront. The bike gets a basic analog-digital instrument cluster. Furthermore, the Stealth Black variant of Classic 350 gets black alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. 


Honda H’Ness CB 350 sits on a split half-duplex frame. Suspension duties are taken care by telescopic fork upfront and twin-shock absorbers towards the rear. While Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets a single downtube frame. In terms of suspension, the bike gets telescopic forks at the front and twin pre-load adjustable gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. 


As for brakes, both the bikes get discs along with dual-channel ABS. Royal Enfield Classic 350 also offers single-channel ABS. 


Honda H’ness CB350 vs Royal Enfield Classic 350: Engine Specifications


Honda H’ness CB 350 gets a new 348.36cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. While Royal Enfield Classic 350 draws power from a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that also powers the Royal Enfield Bullet 350.




Honda H’ness CB350 vs Royal Enfield Classic 350: Colour options

Honda H’Ness CB 350 will come in a total of six colour options. The DLX variant gets three colours namely Precious Red Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, and Pearl Night Star Black. While the DLX Pro variant caters to three dual-tone paint schemes like Pearl Night Star Black with Spear Silver Metallic, Matte Steel Black Metallic with Matte Massive Grey Metallic, and Athletic Blue Metallic with Virtuous White.

In the case of Royal Enfield Classic 350, the single-channel ABS variant gets five colours namely Ash, Redditch Red, Pure Black, Mercury Black, and Chestnut. While the dual-channel ABS variant provides six colour options Classic Black, Stormrider Sand, Airborne Blue, Gunmetal Grey, Chrome Black, and Stealth Black.
