Hero Splendor BS4 is available at selected company dealerships at a huge discount of Rs 10,000 in the country. The dealers are offering such a discount to get rid of the remaining BS4 stock. The Indian government had announced April 1, 2020 for the implementation of BS6 emission norms but it was moved ahead due to the nationwide lockdown because of COVID-19 outbreak. It is being learnt that not just Hero MotoCorp but several other two-wheeler companies also have unsold BS4 stock and hence, they are offering huge discounts and benefits to liquidate it.

Hero Splendor BS4 price stands at Rs 51,790 (Ex. Showroom) but after the Rs 10,000 discount offered by Hero dealers, it comes to just Rs 41,790. The interested buyers can book the motorcycle by paying a refundable token amount of just Rs 200. Though, it may sound strange to some of you folks as to why the BS4 vehicles are still being sold as the deadline of April 1 is already over. Well, it is possible as the Supreme Court ruled that auto companies can still retail BS4 vehicles for 10 days after the BS6 implementation deadline of April 1, 2020 everywhere in India except Delhi-NCR. Though, it restricted the dealerships to sell only the 10 percent of unsold BS4 inventory during these 10 days, which will start from the date when the nationwide lockdown is lifted.

Currently, the nationwide lockdown will get over on May 17, 2020 but the government might further extend it by a week or two to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the country. So, it is not known yet when exactly the lockdown will end and the Supreme Court verdict's 10 day period will start for the OEMs. Meanwhile, in other news, it is also being known that selected Hero dealerships are also offering huge benefits and discounts worth upto Rs 10,000 on HF Deluxe BS4 in India. The Hero HF Deluxe BS4 is priced at Rs 39,900 and after the discount, it can be availed at merely Rs 29,900. Identical to Hero Splendor BS4, it can be reserved by paying Rs 200 at dealership.
