The two-wheeler giant, Hero MotoCorp has recently made one of its major announcements of launching 10 new two-wheelers every year for the next 5 years. Furthermore, Pawan Munjal, CEO of Hero MotoCorp stated that they will not limit themselves to just two-wheelers. The company is also planning to launch an electric car in India anytime soon. It has already created a prototype of a high-utility, modular, electric three-wheeler called Quark 1. It is basically a brainchild of their internal setup called Hero Hatch. This electric three-wheeler can quite easily be converted into a two-wheeler based on the requirements of the users. It can further be used for personal and commercial purposes including e-commerce deliveries.

The company aims to become the future of mobility. Having said this, Hero MotoCorp has been working out numerous simulations and possibilities in the mobility space. Based on these, the company intends to craft the strategies. At present, the brand has 8 manufacturing facilities. Out of these 8, 6 are in India, and 1 each in Bangladesh and Columbia. If we look at India, the two-wheeler brand has manufacturing units in Neemrana, Haridwar, Halol, Gurgaon, Dharuhera, and Chittor.

Besides these, Hero MotoCorp achieved a new production milestone of 100 million units in cumulative production recently. The company rolled out its 100 millionth bike, the Xtreme 160R from its manufacturing facility in Haridwar. This grand occasion was celebrated with Hero launching six celebration edition models -  Splendor+, Xtreme 160R, Passion Pro, Glamour, Destini 125, and Maestro Edge 110. The main highlight was that these models featured a special Red and White colour scheme. All these models will go on sale from February 2021.
