Hero Glamour Xtec is offered in two variants namely Drum and Disc

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour Xtec at a starting price of Rs 78,900 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. Being available in new color choices across the company authorized dealerships, Hero Glamour Xtec is offered in two variants namely Drum and Disc. The bike comes with multiple first-in-segment features while powered by the same engine as the standard version of the motorcycle. Hero Glamour has been on sale in India since 2005 and it rivals the likes of Honda CB Shine and Bajaj Pulsar 125.

Hero Glamour Xtec flaunts LED headlamp and an H-Signature position lamp with best in segment brightness which is 34 percent more than the headlight intensity. Being presented in a new matte color, it gets 3D branding, rim tapes, and blue accents. As for features, the bike boasts of segment-first ‘Integrated USB charging’, Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts, and Turn-by-Turn Navigation along with Google map connectivity. The digital instrument cluster comes with a Gear Position Indicator, Eco Mode, Tachometer, and Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMi). The Glamour Xtec has been equipped with yet another first-in-segment feature in the form of ‘Side-stand Engine cut-off’.


Some of the other notable features include Side-stand visual indication, rear 5-step adjustable Hydraulic Shock Absorber suspension, front 240mm disk brakes, wider rear tyre and ground clearance of 180mm. A special mention goes to the Bank-angle-sensor which cuts-off the engine during a fall. Mechanically, it is powered by the same BS6 compliant 125cc petrol engine with XSens Programmed Fuel Injection, i3S (idle start-stop system) and Auto Sail Technology. The engine returns a power output of 10.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm while being 7 percent more fuel efficient. Below is the variant-wise price (Ex.
