Ford to introduce the facelifted Figo in India next month

The Ford Figo is due for a facelift in the Indian market and the American carmaker is all set to introduce the mid-life update of the hatchback next month. The new Ford Figo will get mild cosmetic changes on the interior as well as exterior along with new features and new engine options. The update will be very similar to the Ford Aspire.

The biggest change will be a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine from the Dragon family which is available in the Aspire and Freestyle. This petrol motor developes 96 PS of power and 120 Nm of torque. The diesel engine will remain the same, which is a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder unit that produces a maximum power output of 100 PS with a peak torque of 215 Nm.

In terms of styling, the front profile will get a revised bumper and grille with chrome elements. Ford is expected to offer new alloy wheel design and reworked bumper at the rear. The interior styling will remain more or less the same but it will get a new SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
