The BS6 Ford Figo, Ford Aspire and Ford Freestyle were launched in February 2020

Ford India has silently rearranged the variant lineup of Figo, Aspire and Freestyle for MY2021 in the country. The American automaker had launched the BS6 compliant version of all the products last year in February. Ford Figo price started at Rs 5.39 lakh while Ford Aspire was introduced in a price bracket of Rs 5.99 lakh - Rs 8.34 lakh, followed by Ford Freestyle which came in a price range of Rs 5.89 lakh - Rs 8.19 lakh. All the prices mentioned here are (ex-showroom), Delhi. All the updates in the variant lineup are listed below.

Starting with Ford Figo, the petrol range is now offered in three trims namely Ambiente, Titanium and Titanium Blu while the diesel version has only two trims in the form of Titanium and Titanium Blu. The newly introduced Trend variant has been phased out from both the petrol and diesel line-ups while the entry-level Ambiente trim has been discontinued in diesel fuel trim. Coming to Ford Aspire, both the petrol and diesel fuel trims are available in two grades: Titanium and Titanium+. Similarly, the Trend variant has been removed from the sedan's lineup in both petrol and diesel fuel trims while the base Ambiente trim in the petrol range also goes for a toss.

Last but not the least, Ford Freestyle can be availed in three derivatives - Titanium, Titanium+ and Flair. Here too, the company has axed the Trend and Ambiente trims from the petrol lineup. Additionally, the Trend trim has also been dropped from the diesel lineup. Mechanically, all the three cars come with both BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variants draw power from a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder unit which develops a top power of 95bhp @6500rpm and peak torque of 119Nm @4250rpm. On the other hand, the diesel variants are powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine which generates maximum power of 99bhp @3750rpm and highest torque of 215Nm between 1750-2500rpm. Both the engines are linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
