Ford EcoSport Titanium S with the updates could be launched in a few days

Ford India is planning to make a few cosmetic updates to the EcoSport Titanium S trim in the country. Earlier this year, the American automaker had launched the 2021 EcoSport in the Indian market. The Titanium grade was offered with a sunroof as standard feature. Now our friends at Team-BHP tell us that the brand is willing to update the Titanium S variant too with new features. Though, mechanically the sub-compact SUV is expected to retain the same set of petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic gearboxes.

Ford EcoSport Titanium S will be equipped with new features such as a restyled front bumper, LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) repositioned below the headlamps and LED tail-lamp cluster. The SUV will ride on newly-designed alloy wheels while boasting of a new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Though, full details regarding the interior features are not available at the moment. Recently, Ford had also launched the EcoSport SE in the Indian market, which resembled the America-spec model of the SUV as it came without the tailgate mounted spare wheel. It was introduced in both petrol and diesel fuel trims at Rs 10.49 Lakhs and 10.99 Lakhs, respectively (Ex. Showroom).

Mechanically, Ford EcoSport Titanium S will come with the same petrol and diesel power plants. The petrol variants will draw power from the BS6 compliant naturally aspirated 1.5L 3-cylinder engine which will develop a top power of 120bhp and peak torque of 149Nm. It can be availed with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the diesel variants are powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged motor which generates maximum power output of 99bhp and peak torque performance of 215Nm. It is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox with power being transmitted to the front wheels. Stay tuned for more updates on Ford EcoSport Titanium S!
