One-off edition of Omologata Supercar is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine

Ferrari is a name synonymous with innovation, style and technological prowess since its inception 81 years ago. The Italian automaker continues to drive in new models in the market, wooing the buyers with design and performance-oriented supercars. Ferrari also develops cars exclusively for the buyers who have the money as well as influence. You have to be rich and powerful enough so that the Italian giant listens to your requirements. In the last ten years or so, only nine supercars are modelled and built on Ferrari’s front-engined V12 models. Some of those stunning cars were the 599 GTB, 612 Scaglietti and F12berlinetta. Now, Ferrari has added a one-off Omologata Supercar.

Well, an anonymous buyer asked for a one-off edition Omologata Supercar and now, the images are out of this unique car. Based out of Maranello, Italy, the manufacturer revealed the exclusive car in a press release on Friday. The anonymous buyer became the proud owner of the tenth one-off GT the brand has built since 2009 for its clientele. The buyer joins the select list of VVIP’s like Eric Clapton who purchased the iconic brand’s exciting supercars.

The differences between the 812 superfast and Omologate is in the design aspect only. The 812 superfast’s windshield and headlights are the only components to make it to the one-off edition supercar. Ferrari Omologata supercar takes inspiration from the famous V12 F-cars like the 250 GTO but it’s a nice blend of history and modernity. The aggressive look is the signature of Ferrari’s supercars and it’s evident here in the images shared so far. The aerodynamically sleek design is accentuated by the sharp accents, particularly in the functional spoiler.

The inspiration from the older classic Ferraris is omnipresent in the cabin. One can spot the real metal materials in the cabin on several places like the dashboard, steering wheel and shift button bridge. The cabin comes in a black scheme with the seats finished in an electric blue theme while the upholstery is a nice blend of leather and unique fabric named Jeans Aunde. The fabric was also spotted in the famous F-1 cars of Ferrari of the past years. The efforts are top-notch by Ferrari in giving exclusivity and best feature possible to the buyer.

The Omologata is modelled on the stunning 812 superfast and is powered by the same powerful hair--raising 6.5-litre V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine. Expect the supercar to generate 789 bhp of maximum power output at 8,500 RPM and 718 Nm of the peak output at 7,000 RPM. The transmission duties are taken care of by the seven-speed dual-clutch unit sending power to the rear wheels. The 812 Superfast can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds so expect the Omologata to deliver similar performance.
