Although the auto industry is going through a slowdown in India, the makers are still showing confidence in the market with the current month already witnessing the launch of 4 new cars in the Indian market and the launch of Renault Triber is yet to take place. The cars that have been launched so far in the Indian market are Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Kia Seltos, and the new BMW 3-Series. As already stated, the all-new possible segment starter Renault Triber will be launched today. This will take the tally of total cars being launched in the single month of August to 5. This is not all as the next month also promises to be action packed with the launch of 4 cars expected to take place in September. This is just an expected launch timeline, but we hope that apart from these 4 cars, even more models could be launched in the upcoming month. Here's a look at the 4 expected launches that are expected to take place in the month of September.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

Right after the sub-4 meter compact SUV Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the upcoming S-Presso from the brand will be the second car that the Indian team of the company has developed all on its own. The launch of the car is expected to take place on 30 September. Based on the Future S Concept from the brand, the upcoming S-Presso will be a unique vehicle on the roads because the Concept in itself was based on a micro-SUV design. The interiors of the micro-SUV from the brand will also be fairly equipped as the brand will focus this car on the youth of India. Expect the S-Presso to come with technology laden interiors with a touchscreen infotainment system making an appearance here as other rivals also offer it. The upcoming S-Presso will be a petrol only car, at least initially.

Tata Harrier Dark Edition

The upcoming Dark Edition of Harrier will only come with cosmetic changes and as per the name suggests the main theme of the variant will be the colour black. The shade that the Dark Edition of Harrier will come in has been named Atlas Black by the company. One will get to see the black treatment all around on the SUV. The exteriors of the SUV will come with blacked out 17-inch alloy wheels and a “Dark” badging on sides of the SUV among others. The interiors of the Harrier Dark Edition will also come with cosmetic changes. These will include the interior theme of the SUV getting a Blackstone Matrix shade, and the seats will come with Benecke-Kaliko Blackstone covering. Expect no other mechanical changes on the SUV.

Hyundai Verna

The new facelifted model of Verna will be sharper and more defined design-wise, it will also feature the latest aesthetic trend of the South Korean car maker and will carry an edgy look overall. Talking of the front the biggest change that one will spot in first look the black colour of the grille. Moving on to the sides, one finds new set of alloy wheels on the Hyundai Verna. The rear also witnesses major changes on the facelifted model. The tail lamps are interconnected via an LED strip that runs across the boot lid. The updated model of Verna sedan is expected to come with new and updated 1.5L petrol and diesel engines.

Renault Kwid

The upcoming facelift version of Kwid is expected to come with refreshed interior design and changes on the exterior front as well. The looks of the upcoming version of the small hatchback is expected to be inspired by the electric variant of the same car that the brand launched in China. The engine of the upcoming version will remain unchanged but it will be updated to meet the upcoming emission norms.
