Royal Enfield Motorcycle is all set to launch the Meteor 350 on November 6 in the country. The new cruiser motorcycle will be replacing the Thunderbird 350 siblings in the Indian market. This will be an all-new product from Royal Enfield that has been built from scratch. Furthermore, it will be introduced as a rival to the recently launched Honda H’ness CB350 in the Indian market. The All-New Meteor 350 has been the talk of the town ever since its images and brochure were leaked online. The cruiser bike has also been spotted doing the test runs on Indian roads quite a few times in the past. Now we have some ‘Exclusive Images’ of the top-end Supernova variant. The motorcycle seen in these images gets a brown dual-tone colour scheme. So here are ‘Top 5 Things’ about the bike that you should know ahead of its official launch.



Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Price and Variants

As far as the price is concerned, the upcoming Meteor 350 is likely to fall in the price bracket of Rs 1.60 lakh - Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). However going by a media report, the starting price could be Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). According to the leaked brochure, the new bike will be offered in three variants namely Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. 



Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Design

From the images, we can see the top-end Supernova variant in the brown dual-tone paint scheme. In terms of design, it is seen with a halogen headlamp with circular LED DRL’s. Other design highlights include LED tail-lamps, forward-set footpegs, and raised handlebars. The bike is also seen with toggle switches, premium seat upholstery with more circumference for the rider, a large windscreen, and chrome turn signals. 

This particular variant is also seen sporting body-colored components, premium badges, chrome elements along with a backrest. As for the tyres, the two-wheeler offers a 19-inch alloy wheel in the front while the rear stands to provide 17 inches. 




Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Features

The new cruiser bike seen in the pictures is sporting a twin-pod cluster instrument console with an analog speedometer and a TFT colour display that will further offer navigation details. The smaller unit known as the Tripper Navigation Unit will come with Bluetooth connectivity. This feature shows the relevant arrow mark for directions along with distance. It also gets a day and night mode display for better convenience. Plus the cruiser motorcycle offers a USB charging port on its left switchgear. 



Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Engine Specifications & Underpinnings

The upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350, mechanically will be powered by an all-new 349cc single-cylinder engine that produces 19.8 bhp power output and 28 Nm of peak torque. The motor will be linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It will be slightly tweaked to produce more output than the Thunderbird 350. Furthermore, the powertrain will come equipped with a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) and an electronic fuel-injection system. 

In terms of the suspension setup, the bike is seen here with conventional telescopic forks upfront along with twin spring rear shock absorbers. Furthermore, it will get disc brakes on both ends. 



Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Colour Options

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be offered in a total of seven colour options namely Fireball Yellow, Fireball Red, Stellar Red metallic, Stellar Black Matte, Stellar Blue Metallic, Supernova Brown Dual-Tone, and Supernova Blue Dual-Tone.
