BPCL joins hands with Humsafar India to deliver diesel to your doorstep through its 20-litres jerry cans.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has partnered with Humsafar India - a doorstep diesel delivery platform headquartered in Delhi. Under this alliance, 20-litres diesel jars called ‘Safar20’ jerry cans will be delivered to the customer’s doorstep in Delhi NCR. The main aim behind this partnership is basically to cater to customers who are seeking diesel in less quantities such as independent households, Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), housing societies, nursing homes, malls etc. 


Diesel Doorstep Delivery: Order Placing Process

All the households and businesses that have small requirements for diesel can easily place their order on Humsafar’s official mobile app called ‘Fuel Hamsafar’. This is a very user-friendly app as it keeps a track of the order right from the time it was placed till it has been delivered. By doing this, the company aims to fulfill the demand of at least 57,000 - 60,000 kilolitres of diesel with the help of its 20-litre jerry cans. 

“Doorstep diesel delivery is a new revolution in the field of energy distribution in India. It is a cost-effective solution for India’s ever-growing need for diesel as fuel is required on an everyday basis for the smooth functioning of various institutes To ease the lives of the end-consumers BPCL has started the facility of door-step diesel delivery through 20-litre jerry cans. The company plans to introduce this facility in about 25 percent of its fuel pumps in the National capital. After catering to bulk supply customers through diesel door delivery, the wave of home delivery offering convenience in small quantities of 20 litres in Jerry cans will be a hit among small requirement customers. This jerry can service aims to ensure a hassle-free supply of the fuel directly to end-users and also avoid unnecessary fuel spillage, unsafe handling, and/or pilferages. The Jerry Can is PESO approved and comes sealed with a seven-wire seal, having a unique number.  Hence, no adulteration and pilferage in between transportation can exist,” as commented by Kshitij Midha, Territory manager retail, BPCL. 



Humsafar India: About

Currently, Humsafar India offers doorstep diesel refueling service for static or heavy equipment/vehicles through digitally operated bowser trucks across Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat, Assam, Delhi NCR, and Goa. Furthermore, all these bowser trucks are leakage and pilferage proof. 

“Doorstep diesel delivery in ‘safar20’ jerry cans will solve many such problems and will provide diesel to bulk consumers in a legal manner. We’ve used technology to make diesel delivery as hassle-free as possible. We have live tracking and automated billing features with assured quantity and quality. The mobile fuel dispenser will remain locked till it reaches the destination ensuring there is no wastage or pilferage,” as commented by Mayank Aggarwal, Co-founder of Humsafar India.
