Coronavirus has officially become a pandemic affecting people globally. A lot of precautionary measures are being taken lately to prevent it. Mahindra & Mahindra has been keenly assisting the Indian Government and the medical authorities to fight this deadly virus. Lately, the company has undertaken multiple initiatives to combat the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country by expanding its operations designed to assist medical personnel, police force, and social welfare organizations. They recently commenced the production of hand sanitizers. The company's Zaheerabad plant in Telangana has begun the assembly of face shields for the police force.
Apart from this, they have been assembling face masks at their facilities located in Kandivali, Maharashtra and Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The facility at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh is also serving more than 1000 meals from its kitchen. Concurrently, they are working on developing sophisticated but low-cost ventilators. The company has developed low-cost ventilator prototypes in a timeline of just two days.
Simultaneously, the Mahindra Group has also designed a face shield for use in manufacturing centers just to ensure that India’s industry stays as robust as it can to help keep the economy healthy. They have also offered their chain of resorts as medical care facilities. The company has been stunning India time and again with their efforts to help fight Coronavirus.
