The iconic British brand BSA Motorcycles rolled out the Gold Star 650 bike in the Indian market on August 15, 2024. The BSA Gold Star 650 price starts at INR 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is available at a few BSA dealerships across India. Deliveries for the new Gold Star 650 have already started in India. The two-wheeler giant announced that the first unit of the new bike has been recently handed over to Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur. The prince has a vast collection of vintage vehicles, and the new Gold Star 650 is the newest addition to his garage.
The bike was handed over to the prince at a private ceremony in Udaipur. Interestingly, the bike is now placed with other treasured vehicles in the city’s renowned palace, which is open to the public as well. The BSA Gold Star 650 is a perfect fusion of both modern technology and classic British design. It is one of the oldest bikes in India, dating back to 1903.

The BSA Gold Star 650 features a classic British design, and its elegance is further enhanced by modern digital-analog instrumentation. It comes equipped with dual-channel ABS for superior control, Brembo brakes, and Pirelli tires. BSA Motorcycles offers the Gold Star 650 in the Silver Sheen color scheme, paying tribute to the brand’s original design. Powering the BSA Gold Star 650 bike is a liquid-cooled 652cc engine that churns out 45.6 bhp of power and 55 Nm of torque.
The new Gold Star was designed by Redline Studios and engineered by Ricardo in the UK. It merges iconic British craftsmanship with modern technology. The bike retains its British historic charm, and it is also suitable for modern-day motorcyclists.
