TVS Motor Company has launched the 2020 TVS BS6 XL 100 at an introductory price of Rs 43,889 (Ex-Showroom) in the country. The bookings of the BS6 TVS XL 100 has already commenced at all company authorised showrooms. However, there is no specific timeline for deliveries.
The 2020 XL 100 is available in three variants namely the Heavy Duty i-Touchstart priced at Rs 43,889, the Heavy Duty i-Touchstart special edition priced at Rs 45,129 and the Comfort i-Touchstart priced at Rs 45,459. All prices Ex-Showroom. The prices of BS6 models are about Rs 3000 - Rs 3500 more than the respective BS4 models.
Cosmetically, the BS6 XL 100 is more or less similar to the BS4 model. The BS6 model also comes with an updated engine. The details of the Comfort i-Touchstart variant has been listed on the TVS website. According to the details mentioned in there, the Comfort i-Touchstart variant is powered by the 99.7cc fuel-injected motor. The fuel-injection technology allows the XL100 to deliver 15 percent higher mileage. The engine churns out 4.4 bhp power at 6000 rpm and 6.5 Nm at 3500 rpm. The updated engine has brought with it an increase in weight. The BS4 model weighed 84 kg while the BS6 model weighs 85.5 kg.
