2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid BS6 gets a price hike of Rs 93000 over its BS4 version.

Toyota has updated the Camry sedan to meet the BS6 emission norms. The company silently launched the sedan at Rs 37.88 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The BS6 version is Rs 93000 more expensive than its BS4 counterpart. 

The BS6 Toyota Camry gets an upgraded powertrain with no changes in terms of design. The design highlights include LED projector headlamps with DRLs, panoramic sunroof and 18-inch alloy wheels among others. The cabin boasts of a leather upholstery alongside 8-way electrically adjustable front seats and adjustable rear seats. Other peculiar features include a touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone automatic climate control, wireless charger, cruise control, rain sensing wipers etc. to name a few.

As for safety features, BS6 Camry comes equipped with 9 airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, vehicle stability control, traction control, parking assist, tyre pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX child safety seat anchors as standard.

Under the skin, BS6 Toyota Camry continues to draw power from a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid engine that produces 176 bhp power and 221 Nm torque. While, the electric motor produces 118 bhp power and 202 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a CVT gearbox with paddle shifters. The hybrid powertrain is capable of allowing pure electric driving mode too. Apart from that, the engine offers three driving modes namely Eco, Normal, and Power. 

The premium sedan is available in 7 colour options namely Platinum White, Silver, Attitude Black, Burning Black, Red Mica, Phantom Brown and Graphite.
