Nissan India debuted its mid-size SUV, Kicks in January 2019. Now the brand is all set to launch the updated BS6 version of the Kicks compact SUV. Recently, the brochure of BS6 Nissan Kicks Facelift was leaked online in the form of a YouTube video. According to leaked information, BS6 Nissan Kicks Facelift will be offered in four trims namely XL, XV, XV Premium, and XV Premium (O). Nissan India has equipped the top-spec of BS6 Kicks Facelift with a host of new features. These include remote engine start, push-button start, and idle start-stop. Other highlighted features include smart card keyless entry, cruise control, ‘Around View Monitor’ 360-degree camera, Hill Start Assist, leather seats, cornering fog lamps, automatic headlights and wipers, Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control, and an 8.0-inch infotainment system among many others. The 2020 Nissan Kicks Facelift will source power from a new 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The engine made its India debut under the hood of the revised Renault Duster AMT at the Auto Expo 2020. The engine develops 154 bhp power and 254 Nm torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox along with X-Tronic CVT as an option. 2020 Nissan Kicks Facelift will offer an ARAI certified mileage of 16.3 kmpl. Alongside this, the old 1.5-litre H4K petrol engine is also said to be in offering in a BS6 format. The engine produces a maximum power output of 105 bhp with142 Nm of peak torque while mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It will offer an ARAI certified mileage of 14.1 kmpl.
Bookings of 2020 Nissan Kicks Facelift is likely to commence on May 15th and the launch is expected to take place towards the end of the month. The BS6 Nissan Kicks is expected to be priced in the range in the range of Rs 10 lakhs - Rs 15 lakhs (Ex-Showroom)
